Oconomowoc High School
During 2001-2002, no fewer than 14 members of our class gathered at various times in Palm Springs, California, for camaraderie and/or to take a break from cold, wet winter weather. We have a growing OHS62 contingent living there, as well as several others living elsewhere in Southern California. In fact, 10% of our classmates now live in California and nearby Arizona!
This, in turn, led to three wonderful events, uniquely and expertly hosted by Georgia Alexander Irons and her husband Jim, Dan Paicopulos and his wife Barbara, and Gary Schmidt. The gathering was particularly memorable because six of the attendees had not been able to join us at our 40th reunion ... Georgia, Keith Edwards, Dorrie Gartzke, Ernie Lindemann, Joanne Marks, and Dan.

Mid-Winter Mini-Reunion
Palm Springs, California
February 14-17, 2003
Building on this emerging tradition, a number of the members of the class decided to see if an OHS62 Mid-Winter Mini-Reunion in Palm Springs during the long holiday weekend of February 14-17, 2003 would be of interest.
A planning meeting was held August 23-24, 2002 in Palm Springs to set the overall format of the weekend ...
Also very special was the large turnout of the Okauchee contingent of our class as memorialized in one of the photos.
In fact, the photos tell the "the rest of the story" far better than any words can do ...
